Richard K. Ford

RICHARD K. FORD, 75, of Weirton, WV, passed Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Valley Hospice. He was born November 26, 1950 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Scott Ford and Ruby Marie Dew Ford Schaup (late Bill). He is also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Richard graduated from Toronto High School, Class of 1970. He retired from Ball Corp. He was a member of Weirton Heights Church of Christ. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed fishing, working on his yard, and playing with his dogs, Destiny and Maya.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of nearly 45 years, Louella Faye Swiger Ford; brother, Raymond Ford (Judy); 2 brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Saturday, January 31 from 12:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm, at Weirton Heights Church of Christ, 3169 Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, WV, with Evangelist Steve Smithbauer presiding. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, Weirton.
